Dave Molinario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Fabio Moriggi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Molinario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Filippo Valeriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gambulaga's Biagio Menna got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Migliandono AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Emilio Lavatrice hit a great ball. After 33 minutes, Fabio Moriggi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gambulaga and the Migliandono AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabio Moriggi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gambulaga booed when Migliandono AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Lavatrice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gambulaga's Fabio Moriggi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Migliandono AFC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Biagio Menna to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Biagio Menna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Nola was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After having played for 62 minutes, Flavio De Simone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Migliandono AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio De Simone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Alberto Tristezza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cesare Olmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cesare Olmi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambulaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Olmi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Nola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th match minute, Gambulaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Lucentini to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Olmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Migliandono AFC's Alfredo Parente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filippo Valeriani. That made the score 0-1 after 81 minutes of play. Migliandono AFC's Carter Nola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Menna in the 94th minute of play. If Emilio Lavatrice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Migliandono AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
