Emilio Carafa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alvaro Biancone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Paris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Alexander Paris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Biancone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Abete succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Emilio Carafa made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Arrigo Trotta sent off a good shot on target. After 41 played minutes Chiappino got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Pugliese. Emilio Carafa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filippo Chioda.
