Diego Colelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arrigo Festa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Anguillara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Di Persio came free, but Anselmo Santangelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Festa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Colelli in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Anguillara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Di Gregorio came free, but Anselmo Santangelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Anguillara AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Di Lillo to maneuver through the defense. Savonarola FC's Carmine Di Gregorio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Colelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Astolfi in the 38th minute of play. Angelo Ferrini hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Anselmo Santangelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Di Persio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Astolfi in the 48th minute of play forced Savonarola FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Festa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmine Di Gregorio to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Albani during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arrigo Festa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Colelli's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Carmine Di Gregorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anselmo Santangelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Anguillara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Gizzi. Anguillara AFC's Anselmo Santangelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Di Gregorio in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Diego Colelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anguillara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Colelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Carmine Di Gregorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Santangelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anguillara AFC's zone, Carmine Di Gregorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Santangelo came out of the goal and Carmine Di Gregorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Fortuna lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Savonarola FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Anguillara AFC. Armando Pietrini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arrigo Festa. 2-0. Flavio Astolfi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arrigo Festa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Diego Colelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Festa having to interfere. A collision led to Savonarola FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Felice Sorge hit a great ball. Arrigo Festa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Gizzi in the 96th minute of the match. If Filippo Di Persio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anguillara AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
