When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achille Pavia was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sopramonte getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Frank Giordani hit a great ball. When Achille Pavia came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the San Bonico AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Pavia couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Sopramonte's Frank Giordani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Castrucci. Aurelio Castrucci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Camillo Coco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes San Bonico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Muzzatti. In the 73rd minute, Beppe De Carolis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelio Castrucci, passed just outside the right post. In the 74th minute, Alvaro Alfani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Bonico AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, San Bonico AFC's Aurelio Castrucci got control of the ball when Frank Giordani tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Beppe De Carolis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Bonico AFC's Aurelio Castrucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, San Bonico AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Castrucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Giordani.
