Anthony Ciccarelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Barbato went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Picarelli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Scarcella came free, but Anthony Ciccarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Elia Anzolin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olmo's Alessio Palombi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Cristoforo Scarcella reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anthony Ciccarelli. The goal made the score 2-1. After 38 minutes of play, Picarelli FC's Dino Zoccolo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessio Palombi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Barbato scored 3-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Ciccarelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, one of Picarelli FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Picarelli FC. Anthony De Filippo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristoforo Scarcella to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dino Zoccolo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Picarelli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Zoccolo couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Cristoforo Scarcella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Ciccarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Cristiano Baggio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Picarelli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olmo the free kick.
