Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carmine Fino kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Malborghetto got a freekick which was hit by Dave Dionisi. In the 5th minute, Fabrizio Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute of the match Biagio Pelati sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermanno Quercia skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Cheloni FC's zone, Daniele Tabacchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermanno Quercia came out of the goal and Daniele Tabacchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Malborghetto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villa Cheloni FC:s goal. 16 minutes into the match, Malborghetto's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Berardinelli came free, but Donato Toccaceli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniele Tabacchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ermanno Quercia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Pantalone during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Villa Cheloni FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ciro Pantalone hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Malborghetto's Daniele Tabacchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermanno Quercia. Ermanno Quercia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Malborghetto's zone, Francesco Berardinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Toccaceli came out of the goal and Francesco Berardinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Dino Busillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Toccaceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermanno Quercia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Fino in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Busillo in the 46th minute of play forced Malborghetto's goalkeeper Donato Toccaceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Villa Cheloni FC's Ermanno Quercia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Tabacchi in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes Villa Cheloni FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Biagio Pelati who took care of the corner kick. Biagio Pelati made a great header on Malborghetto's corner, it was just that Villa Cheloni FC's Ermanno Quercia managed to reach the ball for a save. Ermanno Quercia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Fino in the 57th minute of play. Donato Toccaceli made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Francesco Berardinelli sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Malborghetto's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Paglione came free, but Donato Toccaceli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malborghetto's Donato Toccaceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Tabacchi in the 75th minute of play. Diego Costacurta's late challenge caught a Villa Cheloni FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Costacurta helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Malborghetto got a freekick which was hit by Diego Costacurta. Carmine Fino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniele Tabacchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ermanno Quercia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villa Cheloni FC booed when Malborghetto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Pelati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Toccaceli was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bianco Terenzi. Francesco Berardinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Donato Toccaceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malborghetto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
