Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amerigo Barchiesi made the kick off which started today's match. Ercole Sciamanna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Marsilio in the 4th minute of the match. Adriano Cucci hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Lorenteggio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Massimini to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Aie AFC booed when Lorenteggio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Latini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Valeri's late challenge caught a Lorenteggio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Valeri helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aie AFC's Fausto Valeri got a free kick in the 12th minute. Alfonso Di Gregorio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Attilio Morelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alessio Spinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Verdecchia scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Sciamanna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabrizio Verdecchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Sciamanna having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Lorenteggio's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Marsilio came free, but Ercole Sciamanna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Barchiesi might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alessio Spinosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amerigo Barchiesi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 33 minutes, Attilio Morelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lorenteggio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Morelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Barchiesi in the 35th minute of play forced Aie AFC's goalkeeper Alessio Spinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Fabrizio Verdecchia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Lorenteggio defense, Ercole Marsilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Sciamanna. The Lorenteggio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Sciamanna should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Di Gregorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ercole Sciamanna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Amerigo Barchiesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Attilio Morelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessio Spinosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Barchiesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Attilio Morelli struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alessio Spinosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lorenteggio. After 67 played minutes Lorenteggio got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Latini. Ercole Marsilio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Ercole Sciamanna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Attilio Morelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Spinosa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Attilio Morelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lorenteggio's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Morelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Spinosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Davide Baresi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aie AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lorenteggio the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aie AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Lorenteggio. Carlo Caretti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alessio Spinosa. 1-2. After 86 minutes of play Aie AFC's Fausto Valeri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th minute, Fausto Valeri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amerigo Barchiesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alessio Spinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenteggio's Attilio Morelli got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lorenteggio manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Aie AFC to win.
