Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Viarolo AFC's Aldo Lupi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Gentile during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bergamo 's Cristoforo Gentile got a free kick in the 5th minute. Concetto Clementi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Lupi in the 7th minute of play. Bruno Di Domenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Del Monaco having to interfere. Viarolo AFC's Donato Del Monaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Di Domenico in the 21st minute of play. If Aldo Lupi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Del Monaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Di Domenico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Gentile hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Bruno Di Domenico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Del Monaco, 1-0. Aldo Lupi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Concetto Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Giammaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Di Domenico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Del Monaco came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bergamo 's Edmondo Giammaria. But to his dismay, Edmondo Giammaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Edmondo Giammaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Del Monaco having to interfere. Bruno Di Domenico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Del Monaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Filippo Coscia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Bergamo 's Bruno Di Domenico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Del Monaco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 66 minutes, Amos Cappucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viarolo AFC and the Bergamo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amos Cappucci kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Edmondo Giammaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Bergamo booed when Viarolo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Epifani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bergamo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
