Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alvaro Pasinati took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ennio Molinaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Di Clemente went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 8 played minutes, Casalecchio FC's Fabrizio Fava shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ennio Molinaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casalecchio FC reached it. If Alfredo Di Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Franco Lelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Casalecchio FC's Alfredo Di Clemente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ennio Molinaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Mandelli got free with Attilio Vitullo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 28 minutes, Fabiano Mandelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bassanello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Mandelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Franco Lelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casalecchio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Lelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Molinaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franco Lelli struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ennio Molinaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casalecchio FC. In the 41st minute, Bruno Picciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio Molinaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carter Colella went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Casalecchio FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Di Clemente made a kick off. Ennio Molinaro made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Franco Lelli sent off a good shot on target. When Franco Lelli came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Casalecchio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Lelli couldn't finish the play. If Carter Colella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Di Clemente was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Casalecchio FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bassanello's zone, Alfredo Di Clemente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Molinaro came out of the goal and Alfredo Di Clemente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Lelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Vitullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Pasinati, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Di Clemente in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ennio Molinaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th match minute, Bassanello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Luciano to maneuver through the defense. Casalecchio FC's Alfredo Di Clemente was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Carter Colella kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Pasinati in the 93rd minute of play forced Casalecchio FC's goalkeeper Attilio Vitullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casalecchio FC played a much better game than Bassanello and deserved their victory. The Bassanello players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
