After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Donato Capobianco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trezzolano's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Capobianco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Maggi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Fini during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferruccio Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Demetrio Di Florio was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Lopez couldn't finish the play. Flavio Frasca charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Frasca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Noventa Padovana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
