Elia Polimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Di Florio having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Fedele Marinucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmirolo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Marinucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmondo Borrelli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Trezzolano's Donato Capobianco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Demetrio Di Florio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Polimeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trezzolano's Demetrio Di Florio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Marinucci in the 32nd minute of play. When Donato Capobianco came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Trezzolano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Capobianco couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Di Florio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Marinucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Elia Polimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marmirolo AFC's Fedele Marinucci got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Polimeno in the 45th minute of play forced Trezzolano's goalkeeper Demetrio Di Florio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Donato Capobianco made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes, Marmirolo AFC's Anthony Di Pietrantonio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demetrio Di Florio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marmirolo AFC reached it. Marmirolo AFC's Bernardo Carta got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Ettore Balzani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elia Polimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Di Florio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Marmirolo AFC defense, Corrado Andreola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Borrelli. The Marmirolo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Borrelli should have stopped the shot. When Marmirolo AFC's Fedele Marinucci in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th match minute, Trezzolano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Ruggieri to maneuver through the defense. Edmondo Borrelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Andreola in the 93rd minute of play. Trezzolano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
