Emilio Di Meo was slow to take the kick. During this time Ceri's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Comunardo Pocobello during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Comunardo Pocobello hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ernesto Chitarroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Chioda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Lopez in the 18th minute of the match. When Comunardo Pocobello was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. Comunardo Pocobello kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Comunardo Forlani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noventa Padovana the free kick. Comunardo Forlani hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Noventa Padovana's Ferruccio Lopez, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Noventa Padovana. Ceri's Beppe Chioda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Chitarroni in the 30th minute of play. When Cesare Centofanti came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ceri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Centofanti couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Amedeo Malandra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceri's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Malandra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Maggi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Noventa Padovana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Fini to maneuver through the defense. If Ferruccio Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Ceri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Masetti to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Chitarroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Chioda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Chitarroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alvise Masetti ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Ferruccio Lopez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Beppe Chioda, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Ceri's Armin Crosta got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Noventa Padovana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
