A very good chance. Cavalicco's Anfilogino Martini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Pellecchia in the 18th minute of play. Anfilogino Martini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Pellecchia in the 20th minute of play. Cavalicco's Anfilogino Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cavalicco from getting a goal against them. Elia Festuccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Palombi having to interfere. When Enrico Villa came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cavalicco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Villa couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Palombi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Villa in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Elia Festuccia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavalicco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Festuccia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Edmondo Sabatini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pozzi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavalicco the free kick. If Armin Franzioni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Festuccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Villa to make the kick off.
