Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Meda FC's Amerigo Liberati started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Di Lullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Baldassarre having to interfere. Ennio Scandella's late challenge caught a Muradello's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Zollino couldn't finish the play. Ermanno Zollino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Baldassarre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Liberati in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anfilogino Evangelista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Di Lullo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Meda FC's Beppe Baldassarre got control of the ball when Fabio Di Lullo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermanno Zollino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Muradello's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Censi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 95 minutes, Flavio Vanni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muradello and the Meda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
