Terra Del Sole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Uguccioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlo Calcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Pari in the 7th minute of the match. Adriano Fontana hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Emiliano Perilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Terra Del Sole got a freekick which was hit by Achille Miccoli. 18 minutes into the match, Sappanico's Damiano Di Claudio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attilio Furia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriano Fontana kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Damiano Di Claudio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sappanico's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Di Claudio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Furia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Di Claudio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Spitaleri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Sappanico's Emiliano Perilli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Enrico Pari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Enrico Colombi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terra Del Sole's Attilio Furia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sappanico's goalkeeper Carlo Calcio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Damiano Di Claudio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Attilio Furia to make any attempt to save it. Damiano Di Claudio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sappanico booed when Terra Del Sole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Spitaleri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Damiano Di Claudio struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Attilio Furia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sappanico. Attilio Furia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Colombi in the 58th minute of play. Achille Carnevale's late challenge caught a Terra Del Sole's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Achille Carnevale helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sappanico! An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Di Claudio in the 69th minute of play forced Terra Del Sole's goalkeeper Attilio Furia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terra Del Sole's Attilio Furia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Di Claudio in the 70th minute of play. Amedeo Spitaleri kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sappanico's goalkeeper Carlo Calcio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlo Calcio was a little too slow when Enrico Pari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 85th minute Damiano Di Claudio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Furia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Enrico Colombi made a precise shot to the right of Attilio Furia. Terra Del Sole's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After having played for 93 minutes, Fortunato Uguccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
