Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arturo Bottaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bianco Nicolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Di Santo in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Bianchi in the 6th minute of play forced Fizzonasco's goalkeeper Bianco Nicolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Bianchi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bianco Nicolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes Catese got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Bianchi. Cesare Scandella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Nicolo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fizzonasco's Concetto Verdecchia got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to Catese getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Elia Costacurta hit a great ball. Concetto Verdecchia hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Aurelio Manzoni fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fizzonasco's protests and gave Aurelio Manzoni a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Fizzonasco got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Manzoni. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of Fizzonasco booed when Catese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Costacurta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Manzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Arturo Bottaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Aurelio Manzoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fizzonasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Manzoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Arturo Bottaro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Catese's Augusto Malvezzi. Augusto Malvezzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Catese's zone, Aurelio Manzoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Malvezzi came out of the goal and Aurelio Manzoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Manzoni in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Malvezzi saved Catese from getting behind. Aurelio Manzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Malvezzi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fizzonasco's Arturo Bottaro. But to his dismay, Arturo Bottaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Domenico Bianchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catese's Concetto Di Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Fizzonasco got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Verdecchia. Elia Costacurta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Fizzonasco's Ennio Pittelli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bianco Nicolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Di Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Manzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fizzonasco had won after a very even match.
