Achille Marra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Biancone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Miccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute, Fausto Biancone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Achille Marra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ennio Spione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edoardo Scandella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Coreglia Ligure's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Miccio came free, but Edoardo Scandella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Coreglia Ligure were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Biancone to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aurelio Miccio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavagnola's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Miccio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edoardo Scandella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edoardo Scandella came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lavagnola's Ennio Spione. But to his dismay, Ennio Spione quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edoardo Scandella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Miccio in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Domenico Cinque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavagnola and the Coreglia Ligure players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lavagnola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ennio Spione was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Lavagnola's Aurelio Miccio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edoardo Scandella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edoardo Scandella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Miccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Edoardo Scandella came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Lavagnola's Ennio Spione. But to his dismay, Ennio Spione quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Miccio during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldo Casadei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Biancone in the 92nd minute of play forced Lavagnola's goalkeeper Achille Marra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Biancone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lavagnola had won after a very even match.
