Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eraldo Parente started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Varazze got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Nasuti. Fabiano Grieco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Imperatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Parente took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Grieco. Fabiano Grieco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Fausto Di Giambattista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrigo Fontana's late challenge caught a Varazze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Fontana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Arrigo Fontana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Eraldo Parente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Grieco was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Aurelio Imperatore scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Grieco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 37 minutes, Aurelio Imperatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisiera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Imperatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lisiera FC's Francesco Totaro got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Fausto Nasuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lisiera FC booed when Varazze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Novella didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If Alvise Minotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Di Giambattista in the 59th minute of play forced Lisiera FC's goalkeeper Camillo Giannetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Lisiera FC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Fontana. 71 minutes into the match, Lisiera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Di Giambattista came free, but Camillo Giannetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Lisiera FC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Di Pietro. Fulvio Sciotto hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Arrigo Fontana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Arrigo Fontana hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Donato Granati shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Lisiera FC's Camillo Giannetta to catch but Donato Granati was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Alvise Minotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Camillo Giannetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
