Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fortunato Arcangeli took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ne's Antonio Di Liddo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Arcangeli in the 3rd minute of play. Angelo Castelli hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Enzo Lenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Di Liddo having to interfere. The supporters of Morsenchio FC booed when Ne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Malandra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camillo Di Fazio in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Guerriero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Fortunato Arcangeli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Di Liddo. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Camillo Di Fazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Di Fazio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute of the match Daniele Vieri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Guerriero skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camillo Di Fazio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Morsenchio FC's Cristoforo Di Sipio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Daniele Mauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eugenio Guerriero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Malandra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Novella kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ne's Daniele Mauro got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Alvaro De Cristofaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Camillo Di Fazio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eugenio Guerriero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Di Fazio in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Ne were awarded a corner. Daniele Vieri went to the cornerflag to take it. Corrado Malandra hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Enzo Lenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Di Liddo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Arcangeli in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Morsenchio FC's zone, Camillo Di Fazio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Guerriero came out of the goal and Camillo Di Fazio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camillo Di Fazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Guerriero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Di Fazio in the 81st minute of play forced Morsenchio FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Guerriero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Guerriero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniele Mauro in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Camillo Di Fazio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eugenio Guerriero to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Eugenio Guerriero managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Ne's Daniele Mauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 97th minute, Angelo Castelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
