Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Grieco took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Enrico Farina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Alvaro Castelli managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Caluri AFC's Enrico Farina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Marocchi getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ernesto Bomba hit a great ball. Ernesto Bomba's late challenge caught a Caluri AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Bomba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caluri AFC booed when Marocchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Bomba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Grieco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Castelli having to interfere. Marocchi's Alvaro Castelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Grieco in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Marocchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Vinciguerra to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Grieco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Castelli having to make a save. In the 21st minute of the match Fausto Angelucci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Comunardo Migliorati showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caluri AFC's Comunardo Migliorati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Vinciguerra in the 26th minute of play. Marocchi's Fausto Angelucci was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Comunardo Migliorati in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th match minute, Caluri AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Rullo to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, Caluri AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Bonanni to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Migliorati came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Marocchi's Ettore Palmieri. But to his dismay, Ettore Palmieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caluri AFC's Alfredo Grieco got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41stth minute of the game Alfredo Grieco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marocchi's Alvaro Castelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Castelli was a little too slow when Alfredo Grieco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ettore Palmieri made a kick off. Alvaro Castelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Grieco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrico Farina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Castelli having to make a save. Enrico Farina struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Alvaro Castelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caluri AFC. Marocchi's Ernesto Bomba got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Ernesto Bomba off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Marocchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Bomba to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Achille Coco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Caluri AFC's goalkeeper Comunardo Migliorati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bianco Silvi. A collision led to Caluri AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Franco Pizziolo hit a great ball. Marocchi's Bianco Silvi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfredo Grieco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comunardo Migliorati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bianco Silvi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Bianco Silvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Franco Pizziolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caluri AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Pizziolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Grieco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alvaro Castelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Marocchi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marocchi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
