Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Fedele Iannucci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adriano Vago. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. If Alfonso Gizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Pocobello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Adriano Vago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 13 played minutes Roncalceci AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Caneva. Alexander Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Formaggio having to interfere. When Sale's Fedele Iannucci in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roncalceci AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Fedele Iannucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Pocobello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Vago having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fedele Iannucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Vago was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Alexander Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Formaggio. Sale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Sale booed when Roncalceci AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Caneva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 54 minutes Sale's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ercole Piacentini who took care of the corner kick. Ercole Piacentini made a great header on Roncalceci AFC's corner, it was just that Sale's Flavio Formaggio managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Costa in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Formaggio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Vago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Iannucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Alex Cardano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes of play, Sale's Fedele Iannucci made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Vago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvise Pocobello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Roncalceci AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Apicella to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Gizzi in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Formaggio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alvise Pocobello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Vago having to interfere. Alfonso Gizzi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Flavio Formaggio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncalceci AFC. Sale's Flavio Formaggio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sale from getting a goal against them. Flavio Formaggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Alexander Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Formaggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fedele Iannucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
