Ciccio Di Cola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Vida having to interfere. The supporters of Borgo Grappa AFC booed when Coccolia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Maurizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Pardini in the 12th minute of play forced Coccolia AFC's goalkeeper Comunardo Lemma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Pardini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Lemma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Pardini, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Coccolia AFC's Comunardo Lemma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Pardini in the 17th minute of play. Demetrio Piscitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Lemma having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Coccolia AFC's Filippo Angelini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amedeo Vida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Sacchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coccolia AFC's zone, Dave Pardini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Lemma came out of the goal and Dave Pardini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Pardini in the 39th minute of play forced Coccolia AFC's goalkeeper Comunardo Lemma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Lemma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Pardini, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Angelini was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Coccolia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Farese to maneuver through the defense. Dave Pardini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Ciccio Di Cola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amedeo Vida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Ciccio Di Cola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Vida made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Achille Farese sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Borgo Grappa AFC booed when Coccolia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Forte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Fabio Calcio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Comunardo Lemma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 87 played minutes Coccolia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Buffone. The crowd rose to their feet as Coccolia AFC's Filippo Angelini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amedeo Vida. That made the score 1-3 after 93 minutes of play. The Borgo Grappa AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coccolia AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Coccolia AFC.
