Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arrigo Rava took the kick off in the first half of the match. Monte Olimpino's Elia Panico got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Mannucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Gelsomini having to interfere. If Elia Panico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrigo Rava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fabio Piacentini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Falcioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Quarto's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Panico came free, but Felice Gelsomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Olimpino's Elia Panico got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ciro Marinelli fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quarto's protests and gave Ciro Marinelli a yellow card for diving instead. Ciro Marinelli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Amos Falcioni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Piacentini having to interfere. If Ciro Marinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos Falcioni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fabio Piacentini made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Arrigo Rava managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Arrigo Rava was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Piacentini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 39 minutes, Amos Falcioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Falcioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Coccolone during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristoforo Coccolone kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Armando Mannucci struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Felice Gelsomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Olimpino. Felice Gelsomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Mannucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Panico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Arrigo Rava's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Piacentini was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Felice Gelsomini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Mannucci in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Elia Panico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 played minutes Quarto got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Traini. During the 65th minute of the match Ciro Marinelli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ciro Marinelli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 65th minute, Ciro Marinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elia Panico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Falcioni in the 74th minute of play forced Monte Olimpino's goalkeeper Fabio Piacentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Monte Olimpino's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Falcioni came free, but Fabio Piacentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex De Sanctis hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Amos Falcioni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felice Gelsomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Panico in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Panico in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felice Gelsomini saved Quarto from getting behind. When Armando Mannucci came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Monte Olimpino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Mannucci couldn't finish the play. Elia Panico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Gelsomini having to interfere. Concetto Clemente hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
