Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arrigo Rava started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Bicocca's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Rava came free, but Attilio Arpaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arrigo Rava in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attilio Arpaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Bicocca's Felice Gelsomini threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dennis Foni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Felice Gelsomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Foni in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quarto's zone, Dennis Foni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Gelsomini came out of the goal and Dennis Foni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bicocca booed when Quarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Marinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Armando Alfani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felice Gelsomini. Quarto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Alfani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fedele Traini kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Amos Falcioni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Bicocca's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Rava came free, but Attilio Arpaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Dennis Foni made the kick off in the second half. If Dennis Foni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Quarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Pettinelli to maneuver through the defense. Carter Burgnich didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Dennis Foni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Felice Gelsomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Foni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Armando Alfani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Gelsomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Alfani might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felice Gelsomini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Alfani ran back to his position shaking his head. Arrigo Rava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Arpaia having to interfere. Arrigo Rava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Attilio Arpaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Falcioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ciro Marinelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Attilio Arpaia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bicocca's Attilio Arpaia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Bicocca from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute Arrigo Rava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Arpaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Amos Falcioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Falcioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arrigo Rava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Attilio Arpaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Arrigo Rava in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arrigo Rava in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Arpaia saved Bicocca from getting behind. Felice Gelsomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Alfani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96th play minutes Armando Alfani shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Felice Gelsomini and just under the crossbar into goal.
