Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvaro Briganti started the match with the kick off. Pianiga FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alvaro Briganti 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Eraldo Del Nero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Brondolo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Enzo Di Placido hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Monti in the 21st minute of play forced Brondolo's goalkeeper Angelo Cosi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Mara was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Brondolo's Angelo Cosi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Mazzetti in the 28th minute of play. Angelo Cosi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Mazzetti in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Briganti in the 34th minute of play forced Pianiga FC's goalkeeper Claudio Chiappini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pianiga FC's goalkeeper Claudio Chiappini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Eraldo Del Nero came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Brondolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Del Nero couldn't finish the play. Enzo Di Placido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Claudio Chiappini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrizio Mazzetti was the one to do the kick off. If Alvaro Briganti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Antonello Monti notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Brondolo's Angelo Cosi. Angelo Cosi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Pianiga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Del Nero came free, but Claudio Chiappini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Rosato hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Alvaro Dominici shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Chiappini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Brondolo booed when Pianiga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Novella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Antonello Monti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pianiga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Monti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Del Nero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Claudio Chiappini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brondolo's Angelo Cosi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Mazzetti in the 95th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Niccolai during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 98 played minutes Brondolo got a freekick which was hit by Dave Niccolai.
