In the 19thth minute of the game Dennis Speranza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macerone AFC's Arrigo Nicolini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macerone AFC's goalkeeper Arrigo Nicolini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ermanno Pozzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Nicolini having to interfere. Arrigo Nicolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Speranza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ferdinando Primavera kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fabrizio Cericola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fulvio Vinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Cericola in the 65th minute of the match. Dave Proietti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fulvio Vinci. 3-0. If Dennis Speranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Castel Bolognese's Dennis Speranza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arrigo Nicolini. That made the score 3-1 after 76 minutes of play. In the 79th minute, Fabrizio Cericola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Achille Molinaro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Fabrizio Cericola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulvio Vinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Cericola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
