With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Talamo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Nicolini saved Macerone AFC from getting behind. Davide Mastrocola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuele Colangelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Davide Mastrocola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emanuele Colangelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Cericola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Colangelo came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabrizio Cericola slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Buso's Emanuele Colangelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Cericola in the 26th minute of play. Florian Pala hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Arrigo Nicolini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Talamo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Fabrizio Cericola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Colangelo having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Arrigo Prisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macerone AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buso the free kick. Ernesto Micarelli missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Arrigo Nicolini right hand side. In the 39th minute, Ermanno Rea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 48 minutes of play, Macerone AFC's Davide Mastrocola made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Colangelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Ermanno Rea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Cericola in the 57th minute of play forced Buso's goalkeeper Emanuele Colangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Nicolini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Talamo in the 59th minute of play. Davide Mastrocola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio De Leonardis charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 73rd minute, Florian Pala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermanno Rea in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
