Fulvio Vinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Lepre, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Fulvio Vinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Vaiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermanno Lepre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Vinci having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Damiano Vaiani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damiano Vaiani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Esposito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Anselmo Nardone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Castel Bolognese booed when Arma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Atroce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Lepre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio Vinci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermanno Pozzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anselmo Nardone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Speranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Nardone having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
54 minutes into the match, Castel Bolognese's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Vaiani came free, but Fulvio Vinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Vaiani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulvio Vinci having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Arma FC's zone, Ermanno Pozzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Nardone came out of the goal and Ermanno Pozzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermanno Lepre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Forlani during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Castel Bolognese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Forlani to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castel Bolognese's goalkeeper Fulvio Vinci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Ermanno Lepre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 97th minute, Damiano Vaiani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulvio Vinci. The goal made the score 1-2. The Castel Bolognese supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arma FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Arma FC.
