If Damiano Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Boninsegna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Formica in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edoardo Treglia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demetrio Paganelli was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Demetrio Paganelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Treglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrico Napoleone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armando Boninsegna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chiaiano FC booed when Durazzanino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Porcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Damiano Massaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durazzanino FC's Demetrio Paganelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Damiano Massaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demetrio Paganelli was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Damiano Massaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Demetrio Formica made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Durazzanino FC's goalkeeper Demetrio Paganelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damiano Massaro. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Enrico Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazzanino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Boninsegna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Demetrio Formica came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Durazzanino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrio Formica couldn't finish the play. Edoardo Treglia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Demetrio Paganelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Durazzanino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Ferraresi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edoardo Treglia in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Paganelli saved Durazzanino FC from getting behind. With 85 minutes on the clock, Cristiano Di Leonardo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Durazzanino FC. Alvise Cerasoli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Boninsegna. 2-0. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiaiano FC's goalkeeper Armando Boninsegna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrico Napoleone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
