Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Geo FC's Fedele Zarrella started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anselmo Scirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Cattaneo having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Anselmo Meo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sesto Ulteriano AFC and the Geo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Anselmo Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Zarrella in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ettore Cattaneo saved Sesto Ulteriano AFC from getting behind. Fabiano Piola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aurelio De Angelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Fedele Zarrella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sesto Ulteriano AFC's Ettore Cattaneo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Piola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio De Angelis. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Christian Cannavacciuolo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Aurelio De Angelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sesto Ulteriano AFC. Aurelio De Angelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Castagna went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes Sesto Ulteriano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Cannavacciuolo. When Geo FC's Fedele Zarrella in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ettore Cattaneo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Domenico Castagna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Foni's late challenge caught a Sesto Ulteriano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Foni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Geo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Foni to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Lozzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sesto Ulteriano AFC's Ettore Cattaneo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Zarrella in the 45th minute of play. Ferdinando Castronovo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ettore Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Piola to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio De Angelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Castagna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Cannavacciuolo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Cannavacciuolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Cannavacciuolo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aurelio De Angelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Castagna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Anselmo Scirea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Scirea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Cattaneo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Scarinci, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With an all-out effort, Geo FC's Ettore Cattaneo threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedele Zarrella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. During the 72nd minute of the match Anselmo Meo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anselmo Meo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Fedele Zarrella fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ettore Cattaneo, passed just outside the right post. When Domenico Castagna came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sesto Ulteriano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Castagna couldn't finish the play. Sesto Ulteriano AFC's Fabiano Piola got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ettore Cattaneo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Zarrella in the 85th minute of the match. Fedele Zarrella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Cattaneo having to interfere. Fedele Zarrella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ettore Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Geo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sesto Ulteriano AFC.
