The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ettore Cattaneo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Cinalli in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Ercole Cinalli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sesto Ulteriano AFC's Ettore Cattaneo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrico Zuccarini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Cattaneo having to interfere. When TOP ONE's Ercole Cinalli in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 18th minute Anselmo Meo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Christian Cannavacciuolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sesto Ulteriano AFC's Anselmo Meo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Marongiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Ercole Cinalli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ettore Cattaneo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ercole Cinalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felice Della Torre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ettore Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Marongiu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Domenico Castagna sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Comunardo Petrocchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Cattaneo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cannavacciuolo in the 43rd minute of play. Ercole Cinalli took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Cattaneo. Ettore Cattaneo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ercole Cinalli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ercole Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Cattaneo having to interfere. Comunardo Petrocchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sesto Ulteriano AFC's Fabiano Piola in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TOP ONE's goalie prevented a goal. Ettore Cattaneo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ercole Cinalli's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Alberto Delle Donne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Marongiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Castagna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercole Cinalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Bontempi came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ettore Cattaneo could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Meo during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eraldo Marongiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Piola in the 81st minute of the match. Ettore Cattaneo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felice Della Torre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 82 minute of play. If Ercole Cinalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eraldo Marongiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Castagna went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the match was over TOP ONE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sesto Ulteriano AFC throughout the match.
