Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amos Maranzano started the match with the kick off. If Florian Zola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Emanuele Antonangeli put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adriano Conti. Florian Zola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adriano Conti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vicarello defense, Emanuele Antonangeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Conti. The Vicarello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Conti should have stopped the shot. Florian Zola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adriano Conti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Florian Zola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Conti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Alexander Testi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriano Conti skillfully saved the ball. Emanuele Antonangeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Conti having to interfere. Adriano Conti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Zola, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Florian Zola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Conti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Antonangeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Conti having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Vicarello got a freekick which was hit by Achille Pari. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuele Antonangeli made a kick off. Emanuele Antonangeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adriano Conti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fontana's Florian Zola got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Vicarello's goalkeeper Adriano Conti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Zola. Claudio Talone hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Emanuele Antonangeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Conti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Vicarello's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Zola came free, but Adriano Conti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Florian Zola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florian Zola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vicarello's Adriano Conti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Antonangeli in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Fontana getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Diego Raniolo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Demaria in the 78th minute of play forced Fontana's goalkeeper Adriano Federici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Antonangeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Conti was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Adriano Conti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Antonangeli in the 82nd minute of play. Achille Pari kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Florian Zola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vicarello's zone, Florian Zola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Conti came out of the goal and Florian Zola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Conti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Antonangeli in the 97th minute of the match. Fontana played a much better game than Vicarello and deserved their victory. The Vicarello players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
