In the 6th minute Emanuele Antonangeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Miconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Antonangeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Emanuele Antonangeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monreale AFC's Alberto Miconi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Emanuele Antonangeli sped through Monreale AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Miconi. Ennio Barone kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alberto Miconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Antonangeli in the 28th minute of play. Monreale AFC's Alberto Miconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Monreale AFC from getting a goal against them. Adriano Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Caiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Franco Caiola hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Emanuele Antonangeli put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Miconi. Franco Caiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adriano Federici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Emanuele Antonangeli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alberto Miconi, 4-0. Florian Zola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Alberto Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Emanuele Antonangeli made the kick off in the second half. Florian Zola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Miconi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Emanuele Antonangeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Miconi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Antonangeli ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Monreale AFC defense, Florian Zola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Miconi. The Monreale AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Miconi should have stopped the shot. When Florian Zola came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Fontana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Zola couldn't finish the play. When Fontana's Emanuele Antonangeli in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monreale AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Florian Zola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Zola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Miconi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuele Antonangeli's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Emanuele Antonangeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monreale AFC's Alberto Miconi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Caiola struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Adriano Federici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monreale AFC. After 93 played minutes Fontana got a freekick which was hit by Diego Raniolo. Emanuele Antonangeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alberto Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes into the game, Emanuele Antonangeli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Alberto Miconi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Fontana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
