In the 7th minute, Pisignano AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ernesto Valcareggi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carter Feltrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fabiano Riso made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Valcareggi in the 13th minute of play forced Pisignano AFC's goalkeeper Fabiano Riso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bianco Mazzocco fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pisignano AFC's protests and gave Bianco Mazzocco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Bianco Mazzocco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Davide Montaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pisignano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Montaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Marsilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrigo Amatori hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Murelle Vechia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Valcareggi to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Ragazzoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Carter Feltrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Pisignano AFC's Fabiano Riso got control of the ball when Carter Feltrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Ragazzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eugenio Di Marzio fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pisignano AFC's protests and gave Eugenio Di Marzio a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Murelle Vechia's Alfonso Marsilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Murelle Vechia from getting a goal against them. Pisignano AFC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Murelle Vechia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bianco Mazzocco took the corner. Murelle Vechia's Carter Feltrin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Ragazzoni got free with Alfonso Marsilio in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Bernardo Gerosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Marsilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Donato Ragazzonis short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Alfonso Marsilio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the game, Murelle Vechia's Ernesto Valcareggi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Riso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Carter Feltrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Riso having to interfere. A collision led to Pisignano AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alfredo Muzzolon hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Aurelio Paganelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Riso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ernesto Valcareggi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Riso having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davide Montaldi during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Pisignano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Davide Montaldi. Bernardo Gerosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Marsilio having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Bernardo Gerosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pisignano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Gerosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Gerosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Marsilio having to interfere. In the 98th match minute, Murelle Vechia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Maio to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Gerosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Marsilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 101st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Murelle Vechia had won after a very even match.
