After 24 minutes of play, Vigo Meano's Anselmo Di Palma made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carter Bassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmo Di Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Alberto Gori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ognissanti FC's Carter Bassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Alberto Gori had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carter Bassi. Ognissanti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Gori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Carter Bassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gori, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alberto Gori scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Bassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Di Iulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ognissanti FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vigo Meano were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Di Palma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Di Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Anselmo Di Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Bassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vigo Meano booed when Ognissanti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Minotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Alvaro Fabiani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Fini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Davide Santucci kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ognissanti FC's Alvaro Fabiani broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After 85 played minutes Ognissanti FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Ranalli. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Anselmo Di Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vigo Meano's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Di Palma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Bassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Di Iulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Florian Fini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Feliziani's late challenge caught a Ognissanti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beppe Feliziani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Beppe Feliziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anselmo Di Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vigo Meano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
