The referee ignored Ognissanti FC's protests and gave Dennis Pietrini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Dennis Pietrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Di Iulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Beppe Bergomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Bergomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Bassi having to interfere. Christian Pietrantoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carter Bassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter Bassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Pietrantoni in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Di Iulio in the 26th minute of play forced Fabbrico AFC's goalkeeper Ennio Tiburtini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ognissanti FC booed when Fabbrico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Vitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Minotti hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Beppe Bergomi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Carter Bassi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ennio Tiburtini was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Dario Di Iulio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dario Di Iulio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 95th minute, Dario Di Iulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Di Iulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Fabbrico AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ognissanti FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ognissanti FC.
