Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carmine Frezza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Fontane's Fortunato Rallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damiano Di Giacomo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damiano Di Giacomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Federici in the 6th minute of play. Zinola's attack was well implemented in the 10th minute, but when Carmine Frezza was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ferruccio Frezza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Diego Fontana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Di Virgilio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Fortunato Rallo made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Di Giacomo. Zinola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ferruccio Frezza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ernesto Melucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Diego Fontana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fontane and the Zinola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Fontane's zone, Ferruccio Frezza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Melucci came out of the goal and Ferruccio Frezza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Melucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Frezza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Zinola booed when Fontane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Di Virgilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carmine Frezza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Beppe Federici was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Fontane's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Damiano Di Giacomo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Federici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmine Frezza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, one of Zinola:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zinola. The goalkeeper, Damiano Di Giacomo, was totally fooled by Fontane's Alexander Prato, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ferruccio Frezza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zinola's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Frezza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Melucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortunato Rallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Damiano Di Giacomo made a huge save. In the 81st minute Beppe Federici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Di Giacomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Frezza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Melucci having to interfere. Ferruccio Frezza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Fontana was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Fontane got a freekick which was hit by Diego Fontana. Ernesto Melucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Frezza, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Although Zinola had been in control for most of the match, Fontane still came away with the win.
