Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniele Gianfrancesco made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Audace Sanvito Empolitana's Cristoforo Colantonio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonello Colella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermanno Ferraris charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermanno Ferraris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Audace Sanvito Empolitana got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Ferraris. Teofan Madev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Audace Sanvito Empolitana's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Gianfrancesco came free, but Teofan Madev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Marchesino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Damiano Prosperi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofan Madev having to interfere. When Audace Sanvito Empolitana's Dave Silveri in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Camillo Capaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Colantonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Colantonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Silveri was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Audace Sanvito Empolitana's zone, Damiano Prosperi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofan Madev came out of the goal and Damiano Prosperi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Audace Sanvito Empolitana getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ermanno Ferraris hit a great ball. Attilio Di Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Marchesino booed when Audace Sanvito Empolitana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Maio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dave Silveri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Dave Silveri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Audace Sanvito Empolitana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Enzo Santucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonello Colella having to make a save. The Marchesino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marchesino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
