Bruno Di Ianni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Meo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Bruno Di Ianni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Florian Meo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Monte Grande FC's Alvise Di Bernardo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Masi in the 27th minute of play forced Monte Grande FC's goalkeeper Florian Meo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Di Ruscio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Bruno Di Ianni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Grande FC's Alvise Di Bernardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alberigo Mariotti but with some difficulty. After 35 played minutes F.C Torino 1906 got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Vierchowod. 35 minutes into the match, Monte Grande FC's Augusto Caracciolo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Monte Grande FC defense, Bruno Di Ianni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Meo. The Monte Grande FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Meo should have stopped the shot. If Bruno Di Ianni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Di Ianni was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Di Ianni in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Meo saved Monte Grande FC from getting behind. In the 69th minute Bruno Di Ianni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Meo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monte Grande FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felice Rucci hit a great ball. Dino Raimondi kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Torino 1906's zone, Flavio Cavallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberigo Mariotti came out of the goal and Flavio Cavallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
