The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francesco De Rossi's late challenge caught a Tolfa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco De Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Casinazzo FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Francesco De Rossi hit a great ball. Fabiano Motta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Maccarone. Casinazzo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christian Proietto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elia Grilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casinazzo FC's Fabio Maccarone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Grilli in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Davide Domenghini made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Mozzoni. Tolfa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Proietto in the 25th minute of play forced Tolfa's goalkeeper Ciro Mozzoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Tolfa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Fantauzzi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Proietto in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Mozzoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davide Domenghini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ciro Mozzoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolfa's Ciro Mozzoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Selvi in the 46th minute of play. Christian Proietto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Comunardo Selvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Casinazzo FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Augusto Chizzo hit a great ball. Elia Grilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Maccarone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Mozzoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Selvi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Piccini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fabio Maccarone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Domenghini hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Alessandro Piccini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Maccarone having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Tolfa's Elia Grilli made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Maccarone was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Casinazzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Piccini came free, but Fabio Maccarone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Piccini might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Maccarone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Piccini ran back to his position shaking his head. Comunardo Selvi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ciro Mozzoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casinazzo FC. After a defensive mix-up in Tolfa's zone, Christian Proietto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Mozzoni came out of the goal and Christian Proietto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Augusto Salerno sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tolfa's Ciro Mozzoni didn't even have to move. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
