The supporters of Argate Brianza AFC booed when Vitinia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Puce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Fiorentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Massaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Concetto Ciccarelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Franco Grossi fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argate Brianza AFC's protests and gave Franco Grossi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Argate Brianza AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Grossi to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Vitinia's Fedele Tacco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd minute, Franco Grossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Fedele Tacco in the 23rd minute really tested Eugenio Chitarroni's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cosimo Amicone struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alessio Mara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argate Brianza AFC. In the 30th minute Cosimo Amicone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Mara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cosimo Amicone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dennis Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosimo Amicone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alessio Mara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Chitarroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Ciccarelli in the 45th minute of play. Dennis Massaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Chitarroni having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Concetto Ciccarelli made the kick off in the second half. Anthony Colangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Mara having to interfere. Dennis Massaro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eugenio Chitarroni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitinia. If Dennis Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the game, Antonio Fiorentino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argate Brianza AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitinia the free kick. A collision led to Argate Brianza AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Antonio Fiorentino hit a great ball. The Vitinia fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Vitinia's Dennis Massaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eugenio Chitarroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Massaro in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Antonio Fiorentino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Dennis Massaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitinia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Massaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Chitarroni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Argate Brianza AFC defense, Dennis Massaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Chitarroni. The Argate Brianza AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Chitarroni should have stopped the shot. Eugenio Chitarroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Ciccarelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Vitinia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Puce to maneuver through the defense. If Dennis Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vitinia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Argate Brianza AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
