An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Amicone in the 10th minute of play forced Zambana Nuova FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Vitucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Zulli notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Argate Brianza AFC's Eugenio Chitarroni. Eugenio Chitarroni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argate Brianza AFC's goalkeeper Eugenio Chitarroni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zambana Nuova FC's zone, Cosimo Amicone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Vitucci came out of the goal and Cosimo Amicone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Fiorentino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Vitucci having to interfere. In the 31st minute Antonio Fiorentino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Vitucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Argate Brianza AFC's Cosimo Amicone in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zambana Nuova FC's goalie prevented a goal. Zambana Nuova FC's Ernesto Vitucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Fiorentino in the 36th minute of play. The Argate Brianza AFC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Argate Brianza AFC's Cosimo Amicone looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute, Franco Grossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Ferdinando Zulli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Zambana Nuova FC booed when Argate Brianza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Colangelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Argate Brianza AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Anthony Colangelo hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Diego Masci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Chitarroni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Zulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Chitarroni having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Argate Brianza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Masci came free, but Eugenio Chitarroni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Argate Brianza AFC defense, Elia Castellani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Chitarroni. The Argate Brianza AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Chitarroni should have stopped the shot. Emanuele Motta hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ferdinando Zulli struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eugenio Chitarroni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zambana Nuova FC. When Zambana Nuova FC's Diego Masci in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argate Brianza AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
