Federico Borel hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Beppe Terenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Mannella having to interfere. Spartak Zocca's Antonello Mannella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Spartak Zocca from getting a goal against them. In the 10thth minute of the game Beppe Terenzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartak Zocca's Antonello Mannella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Federico Borel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Di Fabio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Preda in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ferruccio Pallotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartak Zocca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Pallotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Di Fabio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Spartak Zocca's Ferruccio Pallotta in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Spartak Zocca booed when Calambrone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Mancinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ferruccio Pallotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartak Zocca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Pallotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Preda in the 37th minute of play forced Calambrone's goalkeeper Carlo Di Fabio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Ercole Preda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Di Fabio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Di Bernardo made a kick off. Emilio Ciolli hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Calambrone's Achille Rainaldi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Spartak Zocca. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calambrone's goalkeeper Carlo Di Fabio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Pallotta in the 57th minute of play forced Calambrone's goalkeeper Carlo Di Fabio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Di Fabio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Borel in the 61st minute of play. Ferruccio Pallotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Di Fabio having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Ferruccio Pallotta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ercole Preda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Di Fabio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Pallotta in the 73rd minute of the match. Ferruccio Pallotta struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Carlo Di Fabio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak Zocca. Carlo Di Fabio was a little too slow when Ferruccio Pallotta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-2. With a little luck, Calambrone's Carlo Di Fabio got control of the ball when Ercole Preda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Calambrone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Sciarretta to maneuver through the defense. Ferruccio Pallotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carlo Di Fabio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Preda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Di Fabio having to interfere. Spartak Zocca played a much better game than Calambrone and deserved their victory. The Calambrone players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
