When Adriano Scrima fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Spadolini's protests and gave Adriano Scrima a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Spadolini's Adriano Scrima got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fausto Improta struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Carmine Colasante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Spadolini. Carmine Colasante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Cicchetti in the 18th minute of play. Fausto Improta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Scatena during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Achille Scatena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Augusto Imperiale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmine Colasante skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute, Fausto Improta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmine Colasante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Fausto Improta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Improta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Colasante having to interfere. If Amedeo Cicchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Morini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Contestabile having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, FC Spadolini's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Mattei came free, but Cristoforo Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Improta in the 41st minute of play forced Peretola's goalkeeper Carmine Colasante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Spadolini's Cristoforo Contestabile got control of the ball when Beppe Arcangeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Cicchetti in the 48th minute of play forced Peretola's goalkeeper Carmine Colasante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Peretola players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Spadolini were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Improta to make the kick off. Adriano Scrima hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Contestabile showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Fausto Improta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Spadolini booed when Peretola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Morini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achille Scatena kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Amedeo Cicchetti struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peretola's zone, Amedeo Cicchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmine Colasante came out of the goal and Amedeo Cicchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Peretola getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Achille Scatena hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Improta in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Colasante saved Peretola from getting behind. Fausto Improta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Colasante having to interfere. Peretola's Carmine Colasante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Peretola from getting a goal against them. When Franco Morini fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peretola's protests and gave Franco Morini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Peretola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Morini to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Fausto Improta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peretola's Carmine Colasante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmine Colasante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Improta in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, FC Spadolini's Eugenio Di Gennaro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmine Colasante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmine Colasante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Improta in the 86th minute of play. Fausto Improta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Colasante having to interfere. Ennio Falcone's late challenge caught a Peretola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Falcone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, FC Spadolini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Falcone to maneuver through the defense. Amedeo Cicchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carmine Colasante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Colasante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Improta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 96 minute of play. The Peretola fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Spadolini were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
