Francesco Luzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Torrazza AFC's zone, Dario Fioriti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Luzi came out of the goal and Dario Fioriti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attilio Lampa's late challenge caught a Pozzo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Lampa helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Torrazza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Lampa. In the 15th minute, Pozzo AFC's Diego Eleuteri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francesco Luzi. Francesco Luzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Dario Fioriti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Luzi having to interfere. Alfonso Iovine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Minicucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pozzo AFC's Aldo De Rossi got a free kick in the 27th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Di Ianni to make the kick off. Alfonso Iovine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Di Ianni in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Bruno Di Ianni took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Alfonso Iovine to make any attempt to save it. Alfonso Iovine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Di Ianni's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 80th match minute, Pozzo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo De Rossi to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Alex De Cesaris shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Pozzo AFC's Alfonso Iovine to catch but Alex De Cesaris was lucky. It became 2-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Bruno Di Ianni struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alfonso Iovine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrazza AFC. Dario Fioriti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco Luzi having to make a save.
