Dennis Felice was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Zinola's Camillo Bassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Tuzzolino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo Bassi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Tuzzolino saved Vito from getting behind. In the 35th minute Camillo Bassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Tuzzolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Fabio Bosso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vito's Angelo Tuzzolino. Angelo Tuzzolino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Ferdinando Tatangelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Bassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Tuzzolino having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrea Persichetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Tuzzolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Miconi in the 52nd minute of the match. Dennis Felice made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmine Brini in the 54th minute. If Fabio Bosso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. When Fabiano Fioriti fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vito's protests and gave Fabiano Fioriti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Vito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Fioriti to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Felice made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrea Bellone in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Carmine Brini could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Dennis Felice however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Vito booed when Zinola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Miconi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zinola's Dennis Felice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Persichetti in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Vito's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Bassi came free, but Angelo Tuzzolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Enrico Totaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Camillo Bassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zinola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo Bassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Zinola getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ferdinando Tatangelo hit a great ball. Angelo Tuzzolino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo Bassi went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Fabio Bosso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Tuzzolino having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Zinola players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
