Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ferento FC's Concetto Donati started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filippo Ragazzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Ottavi in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Montagnola getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fausto Arcangeli hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Concetto Donati reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Borgatello. The goal made the score 1-0. Bernardo Bonanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Ragazzoni having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ferento FC's Edoardo Piccone got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Ferento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Scarcella to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Frank Catini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montagnola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Concetto Donati kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Borgatello. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Anthony Dorigatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alvaro Borgatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filippo Ragazzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Bonanni in the 40th minute of play. Frank Catini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Ragazzoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Frank Catini made a precise shot to the right of Filippo Ragazzoni. Ferento FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

If Ennio Giammaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was beautiful to see Ferento FC's Ennio Giammaria in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Anthony Dorigatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Colombi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Ferento FC's Concetto Donati made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Borgatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anthony Dorigatti struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Alvaro Borgatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferento FC. Alvaro Borgatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Donati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Anthony Dorigatti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferento FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Dorigatti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Donati in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Borgatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Ferento FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
