In the 5th minute, Carmine Chizzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Carmine Chizzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blacktigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmine Chizzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Toto struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Demetrio Santalucia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blacktigers. In the 10th minute, Cadimare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carmine Chizzo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 11 minutes into the match, Carmine Chizzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demetrio Santalucia. Cadimare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmine Chizzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Blacktigers getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alexander Sciamanna hit a great ball. Arrigo Improta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Rocchi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Di Iulio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cadimare booed when Blacktigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Di Iulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Rocchi in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Improta saved Blacktigers from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Blacktigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Sciamanna to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes, Angelo Ferraris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blacktigers and the Cadimare players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Angelo Ferraris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Ennio Giacomozzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arrigo Improta skillfully saved the ball. Cadimare's Demetrio Santalucia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Chizzo in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Caligaris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Caligaris in the 52nd minute of play forced Blacktigers's goalkeeper Arrigo Improta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carmine Chizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo Rocchi got free with Arrigo Improta in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Blacktigers's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Caligaris came free, but Arrigo Improta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Rocchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Arrigo Improta made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Cadimare's Cristoforo Rocchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arrigo Improta. Arrigo Improta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Carmine Chizzo scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demetrio Santalucia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Rocchi during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Cristoforo Rocchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
