When Cesare Petrucci fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PESCARA F.C.'s protests and gave Cesare Petrucci a yellow card for diving instead. Cesare Petrucci kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Alberigo Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villazzano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Villazzano FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmine Piccirilli was the one to do the kick off. Adriano Trevisani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Lusi in the 85th minute of the match. Antonio Alfani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Fortunato Coscarella made a huge save. Aldo Maio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Emiliano Fioravanti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PESCARA F.C. and the Villazzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiliano Fioravanti hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
