Felice Granati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Zollino in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felice Granati saved Carpiano from getting behind. After 22 played minutes Carpiano got a freekick which was hit by Amos Di Lello. Ciro Di Loreto struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Attilio Bencivenni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpiano. Alvaro Valletta took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felice Granati. Felice Granati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Felice Granati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Chiola in the 35th minute of the match. Augusto Capobianco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Bencivenni having to interfere. Elia Di Filippo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Attilio Bencivenni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Donadoni in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Cerreto Alto got a freekick which was hit by Armin Mazzola. In the 44th minute, Carpiano's Donato Donadoni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Attilio Bencivenni. Attilio Bencivenni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davide Chiola was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Federico Ciolli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Ciolli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Bencivenni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Attilio Bencivenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Di Lello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carpiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Di Lello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute of the game Alessandro Busillo made a throw-in which Alvaro Valletta played forward. In the 75thth minute of the game Davide Chiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpiano's Felice Granati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felice Granati made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Arturo Zollino sent off a good shot on target. Donato Donadoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donato Donadoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
